Material Index is a leading provider of Circular Economy services for the Construction and Real Estate sectors. We lower waste, costs and carbon through material reuse at scale. We provide detailed digital pre-demolition audits, and broker the exchange of reclaimed materials. 

Our innovative proprietary technology allows for building materials to be catalogued prior to deconstruction, with automated environmental reporting and embodied carbon, and for reclaimable materials to be pushed to resale seamlessly through our exchange network.

We’re the only platform that allows a user to go end-to-end from audit to sale. Our exchange network is business-to-business only and includes over 300 trade partners, and we support on-site with tagging, logistics and support. We also provide material passports on project completion.

Our clients are broad ranging but include British Land, Shaftesbury, GPE, Dorrington, Hub, L&G and others. We are Derwent London’s Circular Economy partner working across their portfolio. We also work directly with contractors including Sir Robert McAlpine, Wates, General Demolition, Colemans, Cast interiors and Deconstruct UK.
