As a Research Fellow in Digital and Sustainable Construction you will be joining a growing and ambitious department that values the integration of research and practice-led materials within teaching and learning very highly. Thus, the successful applicant will be expected to undertake design and delivery of teaching that is engaging, innovative and responsive, achieving outstanding student learning outcomes.  All Bristol UWE academics are expected to develop their careers in a combination of learning and teaching, research, scholarly and/or practice activity, knowledge exchange and external engagement alongside academic leadership and citizenship demonstrating UWE Bristol Values in all activities.

The Centre for Architecture and Built Environment Research (CABER) wishes to appoint a permanent post as Research Fellow in Digital and Sustainable Construction to help develop and contribute to teaching, research, and knowledge exchange within the Department.

For this post, the Centre is particularly interested in applicants whose research expertise covers multiple areas of Digital and Sustainable Construction across some of the following areas: Embodied Carbon; Low, Net and Zero Carbon Buildings; Life Cycle Assessments (LCA); Retrofit; Climate Change Resilience; Healthy buildings; Data Science, BIM; Artificial Intelligence (AI); Immersive technologies; Industry 4.0; Blockchain; and other innovative and emergent areas.
