Role Overview
We’re seeking a dedicated Director of Design Innovation and Community Engagement to join our team. In this influential role, you will help shape and expand a community of architects who incorporate simulation into their design processes. Furthermore, you will lead the product development team for analysis.tool, our proprietary simulation software, ensuring that our offerings align with the evolving needs of architects and the broader design community.
Responsibilities
Champion the design process by maintaining the highest standards of quality and innovation.
Devise strategies to nurture and grow the cove.tool design community, highlighting the advantages of integrating data into the architectural design process.
Manage the product development team for analysis.tool, making sure it aligns with the needs of the architectural community.
Represent cove.tool at industry conferences and events, promoting our design philosophy and establishing meaningful relationships with other industry thought leaders.
Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to foster product adoption and expand our user base.
Mentor team members, fostering a creative and innovative atmosphere.
Identify business growth opportunities and establish new client relationships in collaboration with other teams in the company.
Collaborate with various departments to shape our strategic direction and product roadmap.
Qualifications – This is an in person role with a Hybrid Schedule of Tu/Th in office and M/W/F from home
A bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
A minimum of 6 years of professional architectural experience for licensed architects, or 8+ years for unlicensed architects.
Proven experience leading design teams and overseeing large-scale projects.
Exceptional communication skills and a knack for inspiring and leading a team.
Proficiency with architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.) and building codes.
A passion for sustainability, decarbonization, and AI technology.
Actively engaged within the architectural and design community.
